2017 - Midwest, There and Back Again

A view into the vastness from an alpine road.

Tower Falls.  Just one of numerous falls throughout the park.

I know you can’t see her, but Becky is in this picture wearing her camouflage shirt.  Just another hike in the park.

This is the lower, downstream end of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River.

Another look at the end of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River.

Our only sighting of a bear at Yellowstone.  This a black bear.  No really.  Well, it isn’t a grizzly bear.  The lack of a hump at the top of its back and the shape of the face give it away, not the color.

Horseyback riders out on a trail ride.  There are several ways to see the park.

A not so impressive view from Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces.

It seems that the invasive Indiana State Flower has invaded Yellowstone NP also.  It is taking over the country.

Not one of the more beautiful sights at Yellowstone as we head out of the park.
