Travel Logs and Pictures

It is a pleasure to share with family and friends our travels and adventures!

In the early days, our pictures were prints or slides and our stories were snippets shared in person. Then In 2000, we enjoyed our first sabbatical, a seven week RV trip cross country. After coming home, we created a digital album with captions. But, back then, these albums were not published for timely access on the Internet. In 2009, we went on a twelve week RV trip through Canada and Alaska and enjoyed building our logs and sharing our travels weekly via posts on the Internet. In 2014, we departed on another extended RV trip to see family, friends, and tour the Great Lakes region. In 2017, we visited family and toured many of our National Parks and beautiful regions. In 2018, we visited southern Utah National Parks, Grand Teton National Park, and some sightseeing in southern Idaho. Also in October of 2018, we had a special trip (not RV) with Becky's parents to Churchill, Manitoba, Canada to visit polar bears as they prepared to head out onto frozen Hudson Bay for their winter hunt. In 2019, we headed back to Portland, Seattle, British Columbia, and Alberta. The Canadian Rockies are beautiful and their flagship National Parks--Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff, and Waterton Lakes--are great places to visit. After a lul in traveling and switching from RV to SUV, in the winter of 2024, we headed to Death Valley and Arizona.

Now, the summer of 2024, we are heading to the Pacific Northwest to explore parts of Oregon, Washington, and Victoria, BC.
